2024

We’re proud to support the Jed Foundation.
The Jed Foundation (JED) is a leading national nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for teens and young adults. Founded in 2000 by Donna and Phil Satow after the tragic loss of their son Jed to suicide, the foundation has grown into a trusted voice in youth mental health, working to ensure that young people are equipped to navigate life’s challenges, seek help when needed, and thrive.
JED partners with high schools, colleges, communities, and families to strengthen mental health systems and create cultures of care and belonging.
WHAT THEY DO
JED focuses on comprehensive, evidence-based programs and strategic partnerships that
support emotional well-being in youth and young adults. Their core initiatives include:
JED CAMPUS & JED HIGH SCHOOL
Multi-year, system-level partnerships with schools to strengthen mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention programs.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT
Empowering teens and young adults
to become advocates for mental health through storytelling, activism, and
peer support initiatives.
PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Powerful, relatable campaigns that destigmatize mental health struggles and encourage help-seeking behavior.
POLICY & ADVOCACY
Promoting policies that support mental health equity and expand access to care for young people across the U.S.
THEIR APPROACH
JED takes a comprehensive, upstream approach to mental health by embedding support systems where young people live, learn, and connect. They collaborate with communities, institutions, and families to implement long-term changes that make emotional well-being a shared responsibility—not just an individual burden.
Their model is rooted in evidence, driven by empathy, and tailored to meet the evolving needs of today’s youth. JED emphasizes early intervention, access to care, and a proactive culture of support before a crisis occurs.
THEIR VISION
The Jed Foundation envisions a world where every young person has the skills, support, and resources they need to flourish emotionally and mentally. Their goal is to eliminate the stigma around mental health, prevent the preventable, and ensure that no one struggles alone.
Through research, collaboration, and human connection, JED is helping build a future where mental health is not just addressed—but prioritized, protected, and championed.

2023

We’re proud to support Kula For Karma.
Kula for Karma is a nonprofit organization pioneering the integration of mindfulness-based practices—like yoga, meditation, and breathwork—into the mental health and addiction
recovery space. Since 2007, Kula has been working with hospitals, schools, jails, shelters,
and treatment centers across the U.S. to bring healing to the people and places that need
it most. Rooted in compassion and clinical expertise, Kula for Karma is redefining
what it means to care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
WHAT THEY DO
Kula for Karma designs and delivers trauma-informed, evidence-based mindfulness
programs tailored to vulnerable and high-risk populations. Their work includes:
MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAMS
Supporting individuals in treatment centers, psychiatric units, and hospitals through healing practices that complement clinical care.
INCARCERATED & JUSTICE INVOLVED POPULATIONS
Providing dignity, emotional regulation tools, and healing through yoga and meditation in jails, prisons, and
re-entry programs.
YOUTH & SCHOOL
BASED PROGRAMS
Helping students manage anxiety, trauma, and stress through
mindfulness and movement.
TRAINING & EDUCATION
Offering specialized training for clinicians, educators, and yoga instructors to safely deliver trauma-informed practices.
THEIR APPROACH
Kula for Karma believes healing happens when science and soul meet. Their approach is
deeply holistic and clinically informed, blending ancient wisdom with modern mental health frameworks. All programs are trauma-sensitive, culturally responsive, and designed in
partnership with healthcare professionals and community leaders.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, Kula meets each population where they are—with compassion, flexibility, and integrity.
THEIR VISION
Kula for Karma envisions a world where mindfulness is not a privilege
but a right—accessible to all, especially those navigating trauma, inequality, and
systemic barriers to care.
Their goal is to create more compassionate systems of support by weaving
mind-body healing into mainstream mental health, education, and recovery spaces.
One breath, one person, and one community at a time.

HOW IT STARTED
In 2023, we hosted our first event at Carroll Place in NYC. Back then, we were Music for Mental Health, with a simple mission: bring people together for a great night and support a meaningful cause.
What started as an idea became real—125 guests, live music, great food, and a packed room. By the end, we’d raised $18,000 for Kula for Karma, a nonprofit bringing mindfulness to underserved communities. But it wasn’t just about the cause. It was the energy—fun, full of heart, and unlike any typical fundraiser. People showed up, had an amazing time, and left asking when the next one would be. That night lit a spark. We saw we could create events young professionals actually want to attend, with purpose at the core. So we kept going—renaming ourselves Music with a Mission to expand beyond mental health and make even greater impact.
That first night didn’t just start an event. It sparked a movement—where music, purpose, and community come together to do good. And we’re just getting started.
